Pain in leg and Lump behind Knee.

Hi

Type 2 Diabetic here on 4 x 500mg Metformin twice a day, a few days ago I had an aching feeling in my left leg which lasted a day or so and today I noticed a lump under the skin just behing the knee on the back of my leg you cant see anything but you can feel it.. any ideas what this might be ? seems too coincedental that its the same leg the aching was ?...

Best course of action is to see your G.P.

It could be a Bakers Cyst which is caused by

**Sport related Injury.
**Osteoarthritis.
**Rheumatoid arthritis.
**Gout.

Don't be alarmed at the size of the cyst in the photo, this is a long standing cyst which would have started off a great deal smaller.

I wonder if there is a link between a Bakers cyst, and too many carbohydrates in cakes
