Pain in leg

I'm type 1 diabetic and my blood sugar levels are very erratic, but yesterday I had a sharp pain in my lower leg as if it snapped. It is now very painful. Can anyone advise me about this

Could be absolutely anything. I think you should take it to a doctor if it persists or gets worse.

I am not a doctor so please do check with a professional the snap you describe does sound a bit like something has torn slightly in your calf muscle. it can happen with suprisingly the littlest of movements. Doctor or a local physio I think.

Because it was sudden I think it is probably muscular - but I am not a professional I have just had a fair few sports pains x

could be a muscle fibre bursting, I once had that it hurt like H.ll and it can take 14-20 days to heal again
