Pain meds and weight gain.

On Friday I went to my gp. I have been having terrible headaches. She started me on a new pain med. The problem is she said it may cause weight gain. I take these new meds at night. I have noticed over the weekend I've been hungryer. I don't know wot to do. I either stay on the pills and feel hungry or go back to having a headache 5 days outta 7. I've worked so hard to loose weight. I've lost 45lbs to date and need to loose a lot more. I don't know wot this is doing to my diabetes either. So worried and confused.

I am struggling to shift the weight and have been prescribed amitriptyline for headaches and migraine. I am going to read the info now as I wonder if that's why I seem to b gaining weight.

What tabs have you been given?
