can pain increase your glucose levels?
i suffer with hidradenitis and have a nasty flare start monday but it started draining instantly but stopped and today its very painful and draining again
my levels seem to be higher than normal

@licklemoose - Pain causes stress, which can elevate the blood numbers, but with your Hinradenitis flaring up, you have infection going on. Whilst the draining means at least the infection is getting out, it's odd how sometimes that makes it hurt more.

I hope it improves soon.

Infection may be the deciding factor in this case, though pain causing stress will add to it. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
