people who are rude and ignorant, and people who have no patience in queues.
was going to put this on the vinegar lowers bs posts, but thought it better here, feel free to move it.
When making pancakes this tuesday, instead of using buttermilk add a few drops of vinegar to milk (this has the effect of changing milk to buttermilk) griddle or fry in butter. when cooked add lemon juice and splenda, if both vinegar and lemon juice have the affect to lower bs then indulge and enjoy,

That's a good tip, Suzi. I love pancakes so I'll be giving it a try. In California I found a sugar-free pancake mix and a sugar-free maple syrup substitute. Sadly, it was just before we left so I didn't get to try the effect on my bs levels. :(

Hi Bill,
i've just posted a recipe for pancakes under Hana's "Trying to develope a recipe for pancakes" it may be of some use to you, of course like diabetes i find gf cooking trial and error, the recipe i've wrote is easily adapted for non coeliacs and you don't need to trawl the shops for gluten. Happy baking,
Suzi x
