Pancreas enzyme deficiency

I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 about 7 years ( Metformin controlled). Recently I have also found I have a panreas enzyme deficiency which I am not having much success treatment wise. I am on Creon. I have only managed to communicate with the consultant via telephone and feel perhaps there is something further that might help. I would be grateful if anyone out there might give me some guidance
