Hi does anyone know if taking insulin can make me have pancreas pain I have pancreatitis and just lately I've been getting pains which I haven't had for ages now

I agree, and don't leave it til Monday. Pancreas stuff needs to be checked out early - although you probably knew this already, if you recognise the pain. :(

I had pancreatitas,[dont know how to spell it] it was agony, had to go into hospital, never had so much pain ,and had four children.
Tests showed it was a gall stone that was stuck, but I must have passed it as the pain went away, but now had the gall bladder out.

It's so painful isn't it ..
if you have a fare up , you need to get to A and E or seek urgent medical assistance ..
I can't say if it's the insulin though ...
I am the same as pat, had my gall bladder removed ..
Best wishes .. Kat

I too have chronic pancreatitis. They have now discovered stones there as well which they are doing nothing about. My last hospital stay was about 5 weeks ago where I was put on a morphine pump. I have pain still every day. Have a pain clinic appointment but not until 28th June. So at the moment I use a hot water bottle and a strong mixture of loads of painkillers. I'm also on insulin and I wouldn't say this makes it any worse. Any fat in the diet does though, in my experiences. See your GP or present at A&E.
