I suffered from Pancreatitis two weeks ago - took some 10 days to subside. I believe that I pushed my luck with Mild Cheese and my Pancreas objected in the strongest manner.

My question - will my blood sugars be unreliable for some time after the condition has normalised please?

To be honest, @BaliRob , it feels like how long is a piece of string.

I think your recovery time will be linked to how serious the pancreatitis was, the underlying state of your pancreas, your overall health and probably countless other factors.

I would say all you can do is look after yourself, by eating well, and taking any meds you may have been given to help, and if you ar ein contact with your medical team, ask if they have a view.

I do hope you're back to your old self soon.
