In addition to local authorities wasting time and money on evaluating something already done by NICE, I think, as in so many large corporations (British Gas instantly springs into my mind), that the compartments don't talk to each other because the computer system isn't joined up.

Excellent article and really well written, the work Partha has done to help improve lives of t1's is incredible, he is a true champion for t1's.
I agree he has helped T1s tremendously, but I can't find any similar efforts for T2s, which is a great shame.
I'm not trivializing his efforts, or in any way challenging you personally, just balancing it for a large proportion of the whole population living with diabetes.
I have been watching Partha's Twitter feed for some time. While he has focused on T1D in this article he does not forget T2's. He has used T1D as the vanguard and is now turning to making the tech available to all
