Past my 3 months review

Had the last of my 3 diabetes education lesson yesterday which included a weigh -in and results of my recent blood test, here are the scores on the doors

HbA1c has dropped from 62 to 44
Weight has dropped from 135.5kg to 124.3kg (a loss of 24.6lbs)

So on the whole they are happy with me.

Had the result of my diabetic eye screening test back today, all ok.

So just need to pack myself of to the doctors on Monday (non diabetic ankle issue) and see what he has to say.

Well done Tim, those are excellent results, you should feel very proud of yourself
 
Out of all of those the one I was most concerned about was the weight, I even managed beat my best expectation with that. I was hoping for more than 7lb, would of liked 14lbs, so I was really happy. Just hope I can keep the happy trend going when I see the doc tomorrow.
 
Hope all went well with the doctors today. I can only assume that after you get things under control and continue with the weight loss your ankles with get better. Well done on the progress so far. You should be proud of it.
 
My latest hba1c results: total cholesterol 5.0
Tryglicerides 1.34
Hdl. 1.21
Ldl. 3.73
Hba1c. 5.5

Well the doctors did not go well, I got a phone call................................................the Doctor phoned in sick :rolleyes: Booked for the 9th now
