Hi all!
I got a question in reference of driving regulations in the UK. currently I use Llantus solostar 50 units at 2200hrs.as well I use 3xdaily novorapid at 17 units each. Now I use Victoza 1.2 as well. My question is :

if I would start using metformin in conjunction with Victoza, would I get my PCV license back or not ?? Maybe some of you got similar issues and know the answers as I hope I would get it back.

looking forward to your replies, thank you...

Hi
I am new to this so hopefully in the right section to may be get some sound advice re PCV licence, does anyone on insulin drive a pcv for a living??. Also how long does it take DVLA to let you know what entitlements you have and how long licence valid ie short term, Started insulin in June only had letter saying cannot drive on C1 or PCV while they investigate any help/advice greatly appreciated

You need to be clear of any low ( below 4) test results in a six ( 6 ) months period before reapplying for your pcv/hgv entitlement. As well you must after receiving the entitlement test your sugar level prior your journey/trip and thereafter every 2 hours. Also you must have a high carbo food and hypo stops with you and your testing meter must have a memory of 90 days or more. i received my entitlement for now for a yearly review and gotta see my gp/ or diabetic specialist.( whichever applys ),at least twice in a year.
