Pedometer Challenge Thread

Thanks Andy for the encouraging words. My highest count was last Saturday at 902 (but sure it was more) but I think that was because I was at my fathers house doing bits for him as he's still recovering from his operation so I was walking more then I would of done had I of stayed at home. It does seem to average out at about 400 - 500 steps a day at home, that's if I remember to wear it!

oh i was expecting 100 steps lol, thats awesome your doing great and if you want to up those steps like that again theres always something to do around my house lol

I love this! So true!

Nicola it's definitely not a competition. Any improvement is amazing and we just want to encourage each other.

You don't even have to share the step count, just dropping it to say hi and that you're still making improvements is great

No Nicola please post! It's all about staying active and making improvements.

In one of my comments I said that I went for a 'pointless walk' just to get my steps up. It was all because of the pedometer!
If I hadn't been using it I would have probably switched the TV on or sat at the PC

So post! We need more people with a sense of humour and a smile

I am actually a City fan! Have been for thirty years. Everybody else here supported either Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal. Guess I wanted to be different!

No intentional exercise, just a day shopping in London

Lovely low carb dinner at the savoy tonight.

Ham and cheese starter (the menu made it sound more classy than that!)

Chateaubriand and salad main (YUM)

I'm full, you'll find me passed out somewhere shortly

Well the walk count hopefully won't take a nose dive, unfortunately we've had to have our loyal & faithful pal to sleep. RIP Toby. Need motivating Will post later with hopefully a respectable count as out in the garden (it's sunny )

Well what a difference the sun makes! This morning I've hoovered and washed my car.......very rare occurance. Im now at 3149, where last sunday I barely made 1000.

RIP Toby!

We lost our cat last year after she was with us for the last eighteen years, so I know how it feels to lose a pet.

My boy is being looked after by friends this weekend. Seems he's been walked until he's ready to drop. Apparently it IS possible to tire him out if you try hard enough haha

i had a lab that defied physics, he could not be tired out, i think he would have run until he dropped, he was one wonderful animal its been 13 years but never forgotten

Rodney will go and go and go and go and go......

As soon as you sit on the sofa afterwards though he's ready to snuggle!
