wow, no please don't be ashamed, not at all, every step is great especially when the amount improves, effort is more important than quantity, if someone who has never run before runs a mile and seasoned marathon runner does another marathon who has the greater achievement? definatly the first person, for they put more effort in, it doesn't matter how many you do, what matters is that your doing them, the original thread "one small thing" is the key here, its not a race is a record of hard we try, the fact your doing it all says something, it says you see it as important and thats the key, if a single step is painful but you do it how can this be less significant that a thousand steps pain free, please post you steps![]()
Thanks Andy for the encouraging words. My highest count was last Saturday at 902 (but sure it was more) but I think that was because I was at my fathers house doing bits for him as he's still recovering from his operation so I was walking more then I would of done had I of stayed at home. It does seem to average out at about 400 - 500 steps a day at home, that's if I remember to wear it!
