Like many of you may be, I've been getting pee'd off over cranberry sauce. All the commercial vesions seem to be a bit carby for use over the festive season
Answer, make your own!
So startedwith a tray of cranberries, burst them in the microwave and added 3 cloves and a sueeze of lemon and the zest of a lemon and stewed them with 4 fl oz water, when tender, i removed the cloves andI blitzed them with a stick blender and sweetenrd the mixture to taste with stevia powder. The resulting puree was like a thin tomato puree in texture and smeared nicely on my gammon & chicken
The result was so well recieved that I have made another batch but this time with a couple opf chillies to give it a Zing
