My daughter has been diagnosed t1 since Jan of this yr! She used to wet her pants alot and the bed was soaked, thats how we discovered the diabetes! She is in honeymoon period as is only on 6 units of mixtard in the mornin and 5 in the evenin, she has very good bms at the min and the nurse is happy when units she is gettin. I know that over 15 and she wil wet alot, however this last week she is back to how she was b4 diagnosis! drinkin loads! (she stil wets at night and the doc thnks she may have been a bed wetter anyhow and wil look into it after she is 7, in dec) but she is back to wettin every hour either makin it to the toilet or not! She finished an Antibiotic 3 weeks ago after havin blood and protien in her urine, I am takin her to the doc 2day with yet another sample, but i am concerned that mayb after all the years of antibiotics (they were being prescribed loads b4 diagnoses) that he bladder has weakened? Has anyone else had this problem?
