Just ask if they'd like to look after you when you go blind or have a foot amputated?
Show them some pictures of amputated feet ... might help to get the message across?

Hi,

I’m OK with who I live with..
But when at work when the cakes come round? I just say I don’t do dougnuts.. To be fair, It was explained by a team leader that he had to offer, he was practicing inclusiveness for all.. Fair enough. I countered his response by saying, I can’t be bothered bolusing for it..”

But the reality is I couldn’t be bothered wrestling the consequences of doing so, even if I didn’t have a stacked up day..

I found that showing the graphs from my libre were enough to show why certain foods weren't good for me

Personally I don’t think anybody totally understands unless they’re dealing with it too

I do the cooking so every one in my household eats low carb most of the rime mind you both my wife and daughter are prediabetic and my grandson 99% of the time eats keto and is stricter than us where carbs are concerned so there is no problem .
