Hi I seen someone had said about putting pepperoni in the microwave to crisp it up n eat as a snack, just done it and tastes great, so I'm wondering if anyone would know if I do some to take to work will it be ok to 'keep' after being microwaved and for how long, thanks, Abbie

Do you have a work microwave to 'reheat' them? I might give that a try.

The micro drys them out and would keep longer than normal. I'd be happy for a couple of days in your desk
Keep them in the office fridge if you have one for longer

Cool thanks for the help guys, bit annoyed with myself I bought an extremely spicey pack of pepperoni earlier and can't handle the heat for them so will have to go to the shops tomoro cos the thought is making my mouth water, but they actually made my mouth burn haha

Crisp pepperoni. Sounds good.
Do you put the unopened bag in the microwave? Or open it first?
How long do you microwave for?

Diagnosed T2 in sept 2013, BS levels 20+. BMI 22, age 58. Requested a GAD test in November, came back very high 2,000+, doc said I would be T1 within weeks, but presently still LADA. On a LcHf diet taking no insulin or medication, and striving to keep my BS readings as low as possible in order to keep as many insulin making pancreas beta cells as possible for as long as I can.

Hi Ian I lay out the slices on a plate, micro for 1min, pat off excess grease to dry them out a bit, then micro again for another min

I think the general food thing is 2 hours above 5 degrees then don't eat it. I may have made that up though.
