Would've been nice to have been asked.
Hi, @HelenHak
Regarding your photograph, DCUK is not good at asking permission to use our data - it would appear that we relinquish all rights to intellectual property once we become members!
They once posted a recipe on the DCUK Facebook page which I had posted on this site, complete with my electronic signature and thus access to all my posts on this website, if anyone cared to look. The first I knew about it was when another member told me she had seen it there. I do have a Facebook account but had deliberately not used the DCUK page on FB because I choose to keep my diagnosis to myself as far as social media is concerned.
I insisted the post was deleted from Facebook and then removed all my other recipes from this forum as a result. I'm happy to share them via PM if anyone asks, but I'm now very cautious about what I post on the public threads.

Thanks for posting @debrasue , similar things to this have happened before and some member's were not happy about it at all, others okay with it. Always be very cautious, some sites would sell your soul to the devil to get more member's, notoriety and selling ( or passing on) sensitive and private information about individual's and we, the public, are often held to ransom in one way or another.
Big Brother is watching us !!:wideyed::mad:

Well put, Robs - you're absolutely correct!

@debrasue Thanks for sharing that, I have to admit I do not hide my identity on line any more but what I do is not share anything that I do not want the whole world knowing in an open forum. There is no true anonymity on the normal internet unless you are a highly skilled individual.
