Sad to hear that Peter Falk has died aged 83.
I loved the Columbo series, a nice, easy viewing type of programme.

Favourite tv detective by a mile, just loved Columbo and all the other US detective shows in the 70's and 80's and can still watch the repeats on Sky. It was just on the news about Peter that he had suffered from Alzheimer's for a number of years, it was said he couldn't recall his role as the famous Detective

Columbo was the one detective series that I can still watch today, in fact I have been watching it recently in the afternoons when Ive been in, a very well crafted series and a great actor, loved his character in Murder by Death too.

First I've heard of his death - What a shame.
Just love his series and saw him only a few months or actually weeks back on some chat show.
