My hubby is type 2 and says he read somewhere about an app you can use to scan barcodes and it tells you how much sugar is in the item. He's 70 this year and has got a fancy new phone and is going a wee bit over the top with it. Is this true, and if it is, how would you get it ?

my fitness pal, its brilliant........

doesn't just tell you sugar, but carbs, fat, protein, sodium, the lot.......

just go to the google play store on android and the appstore on iphone and search for it...
