Where did you have the best ever pizza, that you have ate?

Mine was an Italian restaurant in Berlin.

You don't happen to remember where in Berlin do you? I'm going there soon....oh ****, just remembered I don't eat Pizza anymore. D'oh.

No I can't remember, but it was close to the bombed church, that was rebuilt in the heart of the city! The iconic one, that you see on postcards!
It was about thirtyish years ago, and nothing has ever matched it! Or come even close!
The city is a fabulous place to visit and its not all about the second world war!
Enjoy the Berlin bear and real beer!

An Italian Restaurant much like yourself @nosher8355, not a big fan of Pizza but my was it good

I do believe that they tend to use more herbs, than the run of the mill pizza place!
Where was this restaurant @noblehead ?

It was in Scarborough, it was swimming in garlic butter and as I'm a big garlic fan it made it all the more delicious

Talking of Scarborough, there was a few years back a small cafe just off the promenade, that served the second ever best piece of battered haddock I have ate!
The fish was on one plate, and the chips and mushy peas were on another!
Now I can only eat the actual fish

Too many good fish restaurants to mention in Scarborough. The best chippy is up the road in Robin Hood's Bay, although many say the Magpie in Whitby is the best chippy the one in Robin Hood's Bay comes a close second.

The best pizza I ever had was in Los Angeles in Shakey's almost 50 years ago! It was my first ever pizza and, as a young lassie from Scotland, I was knocked out by the taste. I've never forgotten it but maybe, like my childhood summers, my memories are rosier than the reality.

Yes been to the one in Robin Hoods Bay. We had to take cover from a downpour that closed the road down to the bay!
If my memory serves me right there was a fish restaurant in Filey that had a grapevine as it's roof, that wasn't too shabby either!

The one in Robin Hoods Bay gets rather busy, plus when you come out of the lane there's not many places to sit and enjoy your meal, time you walk up that big hill it soon burns off a few calories

It's years since I was in Filey and can't recall that restaurant.

Going back about ten years or more!

On holiday in Brittany - there was a local van that went round all the nearby towns on market day, doing pizzas in a wood-fired oven (yes: in the back of the van - probably an elf and safety no-no over here ).

Absolutely unbeatable (though Sweeny Todd's in Canterbury, now long gone, came close), but if a better one comes along, I guess I'll never know, now.....
