Please help me.. iam new.. need advice

The Diabetes Code should be available on prescription.

The audiobook is excellent, as it’s narrated by Jason himself and I find his voice very therapeutic and easy to listen to.

Thank u so much dear... yes i got your point. Lets pray and hope for best for my cushing test

Thanks i surely will look into this

Yes am sure my HBA1C is 6.8%. Here in karachi its also count in diabetic range and not in pre diabetic but my endocrinologist said ur pre diabetic i even asked him should i repeat this test he said repeat it after 3month. Right now only continue with glucophage 750mg twice a day

OK. You are on the right medication, and will get a further test in 3 months, so I guess it is only a label at the end of the day.

Hmmm not happy... but i know its all because of me and my eating habits... i am the culprit for this condition.

Actually, PCOS means polycystic ovarium syndrome... Water-filled cysts on the ovaries, where the eggs should be. (We have less fertile eggs) It throws your hormones out of whack though, yes, but it's not a simple matter of one means the other.

I know that PCOS stands for polycystic ovarium syndrome. It's caused by high estrogen, and low progesterone. Estrogen is a signal to the uterus/ovaries that the internal environment is not suitable for gestation. Pro-gesterone is a signal that the body is a positive environment for gestation.

"PCOS can be produced in animals by removing the thyroid gland. The inability of ovaries to make progesterone without thyroid causes the adrenals to be overstimulated, and they are the source of increased DHEA and other androgens and estrogen.”

“Many factors, including poor nutrition, climate, emotional or physical stress (even excessive running) and toxins, can cause a progesterone deficiency. Use of estrogens, birth control pills and even IUDs can also bring about a deficiency. Animal studies and clinical experience suggests that the prenatal hormonal environment (a mother’s excess of estrogen during pregnancy) can incline a person toward a deficiency of progesterone relative to estrogen.

Estrogen, at least when it is not opposed by a very large concentration of progesterone, creates all of the conditions known to be involved in the aging process. These effects of estrogen include interference with oxidative metabolism, formation of lipofuscin (the age-pigment), retention of iron, production of free radicals and lipid peroxides, promotion of excitotoxicity and death of nerve cells, impaired learning ability, increased tendency to form blood clots and to have vascular spasms, increased autoimmunity and atrophy of the thymus, elevated prolactin, atrophy of skin, increased susceptibility to a great variety of cancers, lowered body temperature, lower serum albumin, increased tendency toward edema, and many of the features of shock."

If you are eating 500 calories, and very little protein, then yes it's probably the wrong diet.

Can you list your daily foods again? In your other post you listed this, which adds up to 500 calories, but in another post you say 1200 calories

What about my SGPT my this is so high 40. How can i reduce this ?

Initially i started with 1200 calories diet control plan but than from this forum i learn that calories is not important carb is important so i reduce my carb intake now am not measuring my calories. My current diet is same as u quoted and i shared in my other post as well

Calories are important to live.

Your diet has 20 grams of protein in it. Protein is incredibly important for allowing the liver to work. The liver doesn't function well in diabetes already. You should aim for 80 grams of protein.

Eating 500 calories is starving yourself. There is only so long you can do this before you ruin your health and lead to huge weight gain rebound.

When you reduced your carb intake, did you also INCREASE your protein and/or fats? Reducing carbs is great, but you also need to have good nutrition, sufficient calories for your energy requirements, and sufficient vitamins and minerals, plus better hydration and a little extra salt.

Avoid liquid vegetable oils (poisonous to the energy production and liver), and eat adequate protein. You need 80g of protein per day at least. Protein helps liver performance.

She listed her current food in another thread as this:

Which is at most, 500 calories, and 20g of protein!

Ohh i see.... thanks for this knowdelge... it means i need to add meat chicken milk or something with protein. Am not starving with my present diet even after starting glucophase i feel full and dont feel like to eat. I usually eat pop corn and dry peanuts also in night. As my cholesterol is high i read on google that dry peanut helps to reduce cholestrol

No i didn't increase my fats or protein intake but i do cheat some times.

Hi there, Do you include Olive Oil in your statement about poisonous for the liver vegetable oils?
