Please help

hi I've been diabetic for 8 years and i put my hands up and say the tablet side I've not been good at taking (I take insulin fine) so I start taking my tablets because I know health risks older and wiser but they are making me feel dreadful I take prolonged release tablets 4 daily but the 2 in the morning by tea time I get stomach cramps diarrhea and just feel awful any ideas what I can do?

Is it metformin?, ask your Dr for the slow release?
some have better luck with lower carbs with it, I don't know because I was always low carb taking it because I'm overweight T2

The tummy problems are normally due to having to many carbs when using metformin even the slow release that you are on.
