Please interpret my A1c Result!

Hi

I have been given my result at 37.5mm per mole today - what does this mean please? The doctor says he is very impressed and pleased but I would like to know how this compares to a normal person. Please someone tell me.
 
It is good yes, within the normal range for non diabetics.

37.5 mmol/mol is the same as 5.6%

HBA1c is a sort of 12 weekly average and, is very roughly equivalent to an average of 6.3 mmol/L plasma glucose level.

It's good, just keep it up.

thanks very much. My A1c was 6.9 on diagnosis a while back. Then I struggled before realising how important low carb eating and exercise is. After much hard work I now have a good routine which is working.
