Can anyone recommend any pocket scales to use? It would be great to take in my bag and bring out to measure food.

Thanks.

Personally I can not think of anything worse to do in public.
Try practicing at home with scales so you can eyeball things when out. There's also a very good book called carbs and callories which give you a picture guide to food on a plate.

I have to agree.. Plus on a lighter note. :p If you were to ever get "stopped & searched" by law enforment? You might be suspected as a drug dealer....?!:banghead:;)

Mmmmm, that pretty much shows the depths that were sunk to justify an addiction...

Been in a similar situation with someone a V long time ago, but never had that one....

Thanks all. I have the carbs n cals app - it is good. That said, I am very sensitive to both insulin and CHO, and I find the app a little limited at times. I was hoping there would be some kind tiny, portable scales that I can measure the weight of the food, then calculate the CHO content with greater accuracy using the nutritional info on the back of the food's packet - especially useful if I'm away from home at a friend's, or abroad on holiday without access to main scales.
