Podiatry appointment

I have my first Podiatry check in a weeks time, the GP nurse who booked me the appointment said he would probably refer me to the chiropodist for regular foot care as I have difficulty getting to my feet, I forgot to ask would I have to pay for this? Does anyone know if you have to pay for the chiropody service please?

I attend the N Herts NHS podiatary service clinic and do not have to pay for my visits. They are deemed part of the NHS treatment.
