Hello. This is going to sound really silly but it is a genuine problem. I have now been on a LCHF diet for 12 days and I am really beginning to adapt to it. I am type 2 diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. Howver when I gave up smoking 7 years ago I first if all used nicotine lozenges and then moved onto polos. Since I started my low carb diet I have used sugar free polos but I cant seem to cut the habit altogether. Any ideas?

Do the sugar free polos impact your BG levels?

(Or you could just eat the holes and leave the rest - sorry, couldn't resist!).

Could you not just reduce the amount you eat with a view to eventually stopping them, I'd imagine they'd be quite addictive after 7 years much like what cigarettes were.

Hello Noblehead. You are absolutely right! They are addictive and I replaced nicotine with polos. one sddiction for another and like smoking it has become a habit. I must try and conciously cut down , I suppose.
