cholesterol has dropped .1 from 5.2 to 5.1. Statins were mentioned I lol, that's a no from me.
Diabetes BG isnt good at average 10 but I have been messing about with carbs and veggies so knew that had gone up. Now back to usual diet.
Vit D levels have dropped from just below normal to well below
Very anaemic as well
Vit B is very low (yes I quite the multi vitamins to help stop vomiting)
I go to GP on thursday this was call from receptionist as they want to do tests again also they have spoken to a DN so hopefully will get to see one after a 3 year wait.

So I have a choice to make, start taking multi vitamins and other meds I have stopped taking to get vits and mineral levels back near normal but also return to daily vomiting or suffer from deficiency problems but no vomiting.
A real frying pan, or fire dilemma.

In your poll the only things that seen to cause vomiting are meds. I have to be careful what I say here but ...is that a clue?

Since panc gave up i cannot ingest anything new, lots of different strengths of meds etc, it is like my stomach goes nope not having this. I stopped taking things to see if it helped with the vomiting, i went 6 weeks vomit free, then i caught norovirus, when that settled im 4 weeks in vomit free. I would like to add this issue has all but destroyed my teeth, it is only because i have a diamond of a dentist that I can say they are still my own all abet held together with ceramic, porcelain and glue.
Lack of multi vits and minerals is causing issues with bone density, skin, hair and probably teeth as well.

I can cope with being diabetic, having no panc, blood and poop.
My fight is vomit, have always hated it. Doing it 60/70 times a day makes me miserable, antiemetics dont work (see above about anything new)

Poll is to see what others would choose if they were in a similar situation

Is it possible for you to get your vitamins needed by injection or infusion? It might be worth asking.

Have you got gastroparesis?

Try taking meds that are liquid ones. There is a good d3 spray and liquid..

We paid an anaethetist privately to give me a vitamin and mineral i fusion years ago.... this was in Bridgend, Wales.

It may well be certain tablet bindings/coatings that cause the vomitting. Both d3 and b12 can be given as injections by nurses.

gastroparisis is one of the issues I have, since stopping meds and multi vits it has reduced.
Some meds i need i know i cannot get in liquid form, i have chopped and changed brands and strengths.
The problem with vit d i cannot take a stronger dose, i lost all coherent thought on higher dose. Couldn't even say my own name. One dose turned me into a zombie. Had same prob with statins so dont take them, it is literally anything new my body rejects

Are you one hundred percent that sas the effect of vit d in liquid form.

I had that happento me on resolor.. prucalopride....not immediately though. One of the standard issue ami, gaba, tramadol gave me that I couldn't stand the noise of anybodies voices...

None of these effects were immediate.

I amalso intolerant to statins.. and pretty much any solid NHS drug gives me chronic pains in my legs and hips.... from the coatings/binding in them. Also am intolerant to aspartame and sweeteners and preservatives inslyding citric acid which is in so much food its impossible to eat anything from a packet at all. Like you with stomach probs...

I have been ott for a long while establishing absolutely 100% my intolerances... just messed up by nhs and my own stupidity at the the time def aspartame and sweeteners.

Tolerance so low on anything that it was the main reason of not having reconstruction after mastectomy.

Are you still able to eat or liquids or tube fed?

My body even rejecting pump cannulas so I know what you mean by bidy rejecting everything!!

Do you think a compromise might be possible if you had alternate weeks of pills/no pills?

What does your gastroenterologist say.?

My gastro and gp analyse every vitamin and mineeal in my blood and suggest foods etc to help me.
Dietitan was useless, gastro chap said no to everything she said...

Not sure what state of play you are with with food or whether you have tube feeds but with foods etc and vitamins it is only you that can tell the doc really.. mine could suggest over cooked broccoli for my anaemia but as you know she couldn't tell me whether I would tolerate it but I had to give it a go with butter nut squash and courgette that I can tolerate. Only trying one nee food a week and never more than one tablet to change or vitamin etc.....

GI had cancelled last 2 appointments, I think he doesn't know how to proceed. We gave been going round in circles for 4 years

I hate vomiting too. The thought of doing it frequently would horrify me. But then so would the long term consequences of malnutrition...

Sorry you are stuck between such a rock and a hard place.

I think I might be tempted to select one supplement, but in single form, lowest dose available, and specifically natural source (which are unfortunately more expensive). Try it. Switch brands, if nec. Then try another supplement.

Those multi vits are usually a combo of synthetic vitamins whereas the singles come in different doses and different absorbabilities - and you may be only having problems with one or two of the ingredients in the multivits.

Also, don't discount the bulking agents and coating used. My mother can't take some tablets because of the shiny coating used, rather than the actual contents.

Hope you find a solution.

Totally agree with @Brunneria. Esp solid tablets with coating/binding I am exactly the same.

Are you actually in a hospital that offers good tertiary care for stomachs and digestive problems?

For me I had to go to my GP and ask for tertiary care for my diabetes as my last hospital were going round in circles too.
Primary care is your doctor, secondary care is a big hospital with consultants, tertiary care is with more qualified soecialusts/professors/honorary consultants etc.

I know if I felt that my care for my stomach was not good enough I would be asking for a person within tertiary care....

Are you tube fed or still eating some food?

Well that was interesting, GP is sending me for an endoscopy and colonoscopy as he believes I'm bleeding internally, I'm also being referred to urgent care team at hospital. Blood count and iron levels have dropped dramatically from test 2 weeks ago to 2 days ago. He said if I was having a period it might be a cause but as I have had a hysterectomy it is not good, my kidney test came back ok but I need to do another sample to check again.
So it is all very strange as you'd think that other than BG going haywire I would notice something different, pain etc unless the little bit of panc left inside me has decided to "let's play a game"
