Popcorn combo bolus

New to pumping and experimenting with combo blouses currently. Heading to the cinema and wondered what duration/ratio people use for sweet popcorn?
Obv everyone is different but some ideas would be great!

I just use a normal bolus for pop corn. It's homemade though as no cinema within 30 miles of where I live

Another option is to buy loads of pop corn so you can do lots of experiments until you get it right

A scientific experiment....I like that idea!!
I don't quite understand the bolus calculator though- for example went to nandos before the cinema and had a truck load of carbs....bolused and all was well. Then told it I was having more carbs but it recommended no bolus as I had enough IOB- surely it should know that the insulin I have taken is to cover previous carbs? I gave the bolus anyway but it's not what the pump recommended!
