Porridge Oats sucks up blood fats?

Just a quick thought; most general dietary advice is mainly for non-diabetics.
If you can tolerate a nice big bowl of tasty porage in the morning it may well lower your cholesterol a bit.
However if you are a T2 and sensitive to it then the blood glucose boost is likely to do you more damage than any lowering of cholesterol does you good.
 
But my google search says there are only 53 cals in 78g of dry oats, so what else is being included in the above figures in the article?
