Pre-diabetes coronavirus

Hi - new to the forum. I have been up and down with my blood sugars for a few years and the gp has told me I am pre-diabetic. My employer knows, but I would like to know whether I fall into the higher risk group with the coronavirus outbreak. Can anyone help with a clear view? Many thanks.

I don't think anyone can answer your question definitively.

The data coming from other countries that are further ahead than us is confusing as they are heavily skewed towards the demographics of each country.

The only thing that seems clear right now is that the elderly in particular are finding it difficult to cope with.

Anything you can do to lower your blood glucose would be beneficial, with or without Covid-19.
