Pre diabetic ?????

Morning. I have just joined this site.
My husband is diabethic and was doing a pin prick test so for a laugh I thought I would test mine.
my doctor did a blood test and said I was borderline diabethic so I though I would also do a pin prick test

Can any one tell me if I am still borderline
1 test done 6 am fasting. 6.3
2 Nd test done 2 hours after main meal ,....8.5

Hello. I am T2 and those readings would be high for me. However one finger-prick test is scant evidence of anything and you need to see a GP and get tested properly if you're worried.
Anything you need to know about your husband's diabetes, or is he managing well?
