Pre existing Type 1 and Asthma

Hi,

I am new to the site and today have been told that I have asthma. I am interested to know if anybody else has Type 1 and asthma and were they advised against having another baby???

Hi, I don't have asthma myself however on another forum I have come across a lady with type 1 and asthma - I think she is pregnant with number 4 now. She'd on the BabyCentre (uk) forum where there is a diabetes group.

No their is no problem that anybody has asthma ant they can't give second birth to baby...
 
Hi and welcome,
i have asthma and type 1 and although i got diabetes after my children i do know of many people who have had children with both easily, obviously until you get control of your asthma i would wait but i cant see any problem..good luck
