Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum so please bear with me. I am 32 yrs old and have had type 1 for 25yrs. A year ago I went on a dafne course and have managed to lower my hba1c from 87mmol to 69mmol. I am currently getting seen by a pre conception clinic and have been given the go-ahead to start trying for a baby...... but just got my eye screening results back saying I have maculopathy :-( this has come as a blow and I am now terrified. Has any other ladies had this before getting pregnant? And how bad did the pregnancy make it? Please help xxx Sally
