I was first diagnosed as a pre diabetic when I was fifty. I am now 76.
My A1C has been monitored twice yearly and has ranged between 5.7 and 6.2 in that period.
I have experimented with cutting carbs and not paying attention to carbs at various times and have never seen any any positive or negative affects on my A1C.
I am wondering if it is possible if that range is my normal?
Would greatly appreciate any input to this. Thanks for your comments

Depends how long and by how much you have cut carbs.
To have any significant impact you'd need about 3 months of pretty strict very low carbing.
