Hi just worried i was diagnosed with precouis aniema and b12 deficcy at 17 years old.. im 26 now on injections every 3 months for life.. iv only had 2 blood test since 17 ... does the docotr havr to see me regualr because of it and give me regularblood test ? As they not even offered one for 3 years now ? Surley they have to if people with preious animia has higher chance of stomcah cancer

I’ve only recently been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia and although we are at increased risk of stomach cancer unless they suspect you have it they aren’t going to run any tests for it, a blood test wouldn’t be sufficient enough to diagnose stomach cancer anyway and with being on B12 injections they don’t have any need to run blood tests unless needed for something else.
