Hi guys I’m new here so I’m 33 weeks and 5 days along the pregnancy journey and I’ve had to start monitoring my blood sugars and all the information was just thrown at me and I didn’t take everything in, I was told if i get 3 high readings to ring the diabetic nurse but does this mean 3 readings in a row in the day or 3 high readings in a week or 3 high readings on different days but at the same time so say 3 high ones each day before breakfast or 3 high readings different day’s all after tea? Just wondering if anyone could help me out thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. It can get confusing to post the same things in different forums.

So, you are 5 days pregnant. Congratulations. What type of diabetes do you have?

33 weeks and 5 days, not just 5 days haha... and I havnt been diagnosed with diabetes atm since being pregnant just recently there’s been glucose in wee samples that I have done but when I had a GTT done they said everything was fine and no further action needed to be taken but as a result of glucose being present I now have to start pricking my finger 4 times a day

That makes better sense :)

There is a sub forum for gestational diabetes that might be informative.

I’m not asking anything about gestation diabetes in particular I was asking about the “ 3 high readings” does this mean :
1) 3 high readings one after the other
2) 3 high readings on different days but all “ after breakfast” Or all “ after tea”

Hope that makes sense
