Hi! I understand you on how all the info available may play a bad trick on ur mind, but not all is so bad :) My daughter is 6 years old and she was born healthy thank God. You just need to become best friends with ur glucometer and have always at hand ur fast acting. A suggestion that worked wonders for me? Try to walk at least 4 days a week. And dont worry about the inyections for the baby lungs (when u'll be on the 33th weeks or so) they'll help ur baby to be ready and wont harm u at all, just remember to monitor ur levels. Eat plenty of vegetables, bran, oat, water and listen to music; the only tricky side of it all are the contractions which are painful, but they will put u anesthesia if u have a b section. After that ur baby will probably be away for a whole day until u are able to see him/her. But ur diabetes is no problem as long as you manage ur sugar levels... Best of luck!! Is so beautiful to become a mom :)
