What helped me is walking, drinking a lot of water and correcting it. Nurse put me on higher dose of insulin which worked in the beginning then I got more highs than ever. I went back to my usual doses of insulin and since that my blood sugar is good again. Like with 12 lantus and 6 novorapid in the evening got readings like 16 after food and 3 unit correction I got  morning reading around 9-10-11 or higher. Since I'm back to 10 lantus and 5 novorapid my evening after meal is 7 and morning is 5. It doesn't make sense but I think too much insulin was giving me highs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
