Hi All,

I am type 1 diabetic and my husband works in the insurance industry, he has just launched a private medical insurance scheme that offers cover for diabetic complications, it’s done on a £1000 per year rolling benefit for 10 years so you can potentially have £10,000 of cover. As well as cover for other new conditions. I have seen posts on here over the years mentioning that no policy will offer cover for diabetes, this is one of the reasons he has done it and thought I would share this info with you all

Can be contacted on [email protected]

Is this policy still running?
After my misdiagnosis for a year (paid for a private consultation to be told I was T1 and was rushed to hospital with Ketoacidosis) and recent lack of care re frozen shoulder I'm now looking into this as I've lost faith in NHS... Due to just being fobbed off since January this year and given nothing but naproxen and painkillers, my shoulder has completely frozen; only treatment option is surgery which I can have next week if I've £5000 or next January on the NHS!!
