I was told today that my local CCG (Eastern and Central Cheshire) plan to move all adult diabetes outpatient care out of the hospital and into a "polyclinic" with a third-party privatised "Community Interest" provider.
The company is apparently Vernova Healthcare and their website indicates that they already do vasectomies and blood tests, but there is no mention of diabetes.
I like my consultant; I really don't want to move, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any experience of them?
