problems at work

:wave: hi all im new to here im looking for advise please.

my partner is type 1

He has been there 3 months so far last month he had a bug constantly being sick, long story short ended up having a hypo and ended up in hospital in intensive care as he had ketoacidosis. I had made his employer aware of the situation but yet they was constantly ringing wanting to know why he wasn't in work,harassing him even though i had passed the message onto his area manager plus handing a sick note into them with discharge papers.
yesterday he received a letter from work saying they was unsure of his employment due to being absent from work and that my partners manager had raised concerns to his manager. but yet none of them has asked my partner was he ok , done an assessment with him,return to work or nothing but also have not spoken to my partner about there concerns.

they was aware from day 1 my partner was type1 but some of the comments and remarks they have said to my partner and the way they are with him isnt on they have said "if your off again he is sacked". To be honest i don't think they understand the seriousness of diabetes.

Could anyone give me any advise on what we could do, i feel he is being discriminated all he wants to do is go to work,get paid and come home to his family but its getting him down with the way he is being treated.

My partner is out of hospital now and is well again, but when he had come out of hospital like i sayi handed sick notes in, but yet they kept ringing him, not to ask how he was but when he was coming in when they had his sick note with them and knew the full situation.
to be honest they are treating him like poo, before my partner ended up in hospital he was going into work ill as they had told him that if he was ill again he would loose his job. its really getting my partner down and myself as he is stress all the time and we always seem to be arguing about his work.
His employers are not following rules as when my partner came out of hospital they never did a return to work or risk assessment with him or had a chat with him, but the other day he had a letter through the door from his employers saying that they was unsure about his employment due to his absences, but his manager hasnt spoke to my partner about this and has been slagging him off behind his back.
Yesterday my partner was meant to finish work at 8 he was still there ten minutes later, then got told he wasn't going anywhere he was staying till 9 (sorry im sort of going of the point) but they are not doing things by the book. my partner is on an apprenticeship there but they shouldn't be able to treat him like this surely. My partner is so stressed with it all and run down he is thinking of quitting
