I'm type 2 diagnosed for 2 years. I have been on 850mg of Meteformin x 2 times daily and Byetta 10mg x 2 times daily for the past 4 months.
When I orginally started on 5 mg Byetta I had some nausea but nothing I couldn't put up with. I then went onto 10mg 4 months ago and initially had no problems. In June this year I started to feel very sick and started experiencing stomach problems - very quick dashes to the loo! That then progressed to vomitting nearly every other day and sometimes not making it to the loo.
I now feel drained and seem to expel everything I'm eating - but no weight loss
Everytime I lift the Byetta to administer it I feel sick.
I have been trying to get my Diabetic Specialist Nurse but still waiting for her to get back to me any help in the interim????
