Hi everyone,

I use a lantus solostar pen every night as i just have. Halfway through injecting the pen suddenly just wouldnt let me inject anymore.
Its like it gets jammed and the dial doesnt turn.
I've also noticed the lid wont go on properly.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?
Should i/how do i report it?

I've had this happen too where the pen jams half way through the injection but never had any issues with Solostar cap.

Take the pen back to the pharmacy for a replacement but you can also report faulty drugs/medical equipment using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme:

Ditto. It happened in Spain last week and I only took one with me so I had to buy a box of five - 50 euros. I left the faulty one with the chemist. I took two back to the UK and that meant throwing out the other three Spanish ones. One of the Spanish ones too now isn't working.

This and BD Autoshield needles that often won't work is doing my head in .....
