My husband David has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and will soon start hormone injections traetment. As a diabetic type 1 will he face any problems while on this hormone treatment?

Can he contact his endo about this?
Endocrinologist are hormone specialists so they might know more. Having your diabetes team on board while under cancer treatment seems like a good idea in general too.

Wish you all the best!

How’s that going? I’ve just this year started hormone therapy for prostate cancer and for the first time in 30+ years of T1 I’m putting on weight and my sugars are all over the place (mainly highs, but also prolonged lows). I’m in contact with the diabetes team but anecdotal stuff is often handy too. I hope your husband is managing well.
