Thanks, I've been googling and saw that. I'm hoping it was just a contaminated urine sample because I had a baby 7 weeks ago and my urine tests often show leukocytes as well, which I think is just contamination from the discharge that comes from the uterus after giving birth. I don't seem to have other symptoms of a uti. This was the first time some protein showed up but it was a cloudy sample and an hour later after drinking water and trying again to get a cleaner sample, the urine looked perfectly normal. So I'm hoping it was just a clumsy sample the first time. I have a headache and could taste ketones so that was the only reason I wanted to check, to confirm the taste in my mouth was from ketosis. Never expected protein :p Note to self: resist urge to do urine tests at 3am... Have to try again in the morning and see if it's gone.
