After missing a sandwich for a long time I give in an bought the Protein Roll, I have read so much about.
I had half the roll with cheese and throughly enjoyed it.......but after work hours my blood went to 8.1, so gutted I really thought I would have found a lovely treat.
For all of you that can tolerate them I am so jealous
So now 3 hrs since test and drinking water with dash of lemon and 1 small clementine and now 5.1. ...strange but double checked using 2 different meters.
So I am going to try again for lunch tomorrow instead of my tea.
is that like a bread role i got a protein roll in Lidl and it was really nice, the best high protein snack I have now discovered is roast quorn, i was ever so sceptical about it, but its lovely
If that was a Lidl high protein roll and you only had half, it can't have been the roll on its own that cause a high spike. It would have only been about 4g carbs. Try the other half and test before and 2 hours after.
