  • About

    Feb 1, 1967 (Age: 53)
used to be a nurse and tutor
    Type of diabetes:
    Type 2
    Treatment type:
    Diet only
    zopiclone, citalopram, domperidome,
walking, and yes I know I need to do more but I hate being hot and sweaty, also house work
art galleries, cats, vintage things, history and reading, food and cooking
junk food, modern life, crowds, heat and loud music
I am Ali, I live in Wales although I am English/Scottish , I have a lot of problems with poor health including Aspergers syndrome severe anxiety and also have had a long battle with PCOS and subsequent infertility . Also had a brush with cancer and now have type 2 Diabetes which is not at all a surprise being my poor gene pool and dodgy apple shape and desire for carbs, carbs and more carbs.

Good stuff I am very intelligent, IQ of 140, passionate about justice and peace, love cats and all animals actually, also love children and being barren is the worst blow I have ever suffered.

Love art, history, vintage clothes and china and textiles, collecting cat things, books and dolls, I also love to cok and eat and have bought the Hairy dieter boks as I know they love food and have some very Diabetic friendly meals I can cook, it's just hard getting used to not baking cakes and bread and fudge.

My snack tip ? two oat cakes with humus on ( I make my own and leave out Tahini to lessen the carbs and fat)
