Can anyone help me. Trying low carb high fat but I am always eating more protein than I should. I can't seem to get the ratio right. I eat meat eggs bacon etc but they all push up the protein. Trouble is I am not a great fan of vegetables I will eat them at a push but really don't enjoy them. And as for the good fats I haven't a clue. Any meal ideas would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

Why do you think you are eating too much protein?
Have you worked out exactly what your macros (nutrient ratios) are? protein seems to be a cause of concern to some when eating LCHF but not to others.

Using my fitness pal I did my meal plan for today (which is quite typical on a day to day basis) and the macros show protein 59% fat 34% and carbs 7%.

Are you having fatty meat or lean? I usually try for a 70-75% fat 20-25% protein and minimal carb macro set.
Pork belly, chicken thighs, steaks. Lamb chops etc.. Do you like avocados? they are high fat low protein.
I have cream in coffee to get fat up and proteins lower although to be honest I don't really worry about limiting protein just restricting carbs to an absolute minimum.

The day I was diagnosed with type 2 I came home and researched a drug free solution. Like you I decided keto made logical sense. It's been 3 months for me of recording every piece of food I eat including if it's just a taste of something. I record my bloods for my own reference. Now, I was and still am extremely obese but I've lost 2.5 stone so far on a sedentary lifestyle. I've noticed from looking at my recordings that my bloods are just as steady on high organic animal fat, cold pressed high quality oils, organic dairy fat, nuts and mct oil as they are vegetables and the above fats. Like you no doubt I've watched tens of hours of videos on the subject. I understand the importance of the right fats but because I'm super obese actually adding all this fat isn't necessary as I have far too much to call upon for energy. What works for me is keeping protein below 3oz per day and mine is lean protein too. Personally I hate chewing fatty meat. I loose weight at the same rate if it's meat, dairy or vegetable protein and my bloods are the same too. Please remember all the bacon your eating may contain nitrates. I eat nitrate free bacon and yes I know nitrates are just one of the issues with processed meats. The most effective boost I found for my health, energy and blood readings is fasting. Am I right to assume you asked about protein because your bloods are out or your weìght is not dropping?

Just to add my good fats are obviously cold pressed extra virgin coconut, cold pressed organic avocado, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, a little cold pressed orginic extra virgin flax seed oil, organic butter and combination MCT oil of C:8, C:10 and C:12 as I wanted an easy to digest and tasteless MCT oil. Watch oils that are high in omega 6 keep the omega 6 lower than your omega 3's. I eat once per day and my body is well adapted to that. I started eating keto for 6 weeks before my first 24 hour fast. Then 48hr, then 7 day fast now I regularly fast for 24 hours upwards with no problems. My first 7 day fast was extremely easy hunger wise I was surprised and could have gone for longer if it were just down to hunger.
