My daughter was diagnosed T1 just over 2 months ago.
Before diagnosis she had a few different hobbies, choir, cubs and majorettes etc.
She's been through a lot in the last couple of months including constant morning hypos and constantly feeling unwell but the one hobby she has stuck with is majorettes, to the point of she wanted to attend class on the day she was released from hospital!
Today brought an extremely proud parent moment. Today was majorettes competition day. 13 hours later and she walked away with a merit and 2 silver medals!!
. To say she is completely shattered would be an understatement but she has loved every second of it!
Now time to rest up as we've got it all to do again in 2 weeks!
So so proud of you Ellie Mae X X X
